ITW EAE to Showcase Latest Electronic Assembly Equipment Developments at IPC APEX
Lakeville, Minnesota, February 3, 2026 – ITW EAE will be showcasing its latest developments at IPC APEX, March 17 - 19 in Anaheim. The ITW EAE booth #1114 will have MPM, Camalot, Electrovert and Vitronics Soltec Applications experts on hand as well as Sales and Management to answer questions and offer solutions.
Camalot will showcase the Prodigy’s advanced capabilities for AI and server applications, including support for large boards up to 880 mm and stable processing enabled by heated lift chucks and patented IR temperature sensors. The system combines the high‑speed NuJet pump with award‑winning Tilt and Rotate technology for precise dispensing around tall components and dense layouts, improving capillary flow and reducing wet‑out areas.
Electrovert wave solder will feature the new EcoWave option on the Electra wave soldering system. This patented technology combines Electrovert’s advanced DwellFlex™ 4.0 and Auto Exit Wing™ options to offer exceptional flexibility and superior soldering quality. By directly addressing core challenges related to dross, EcoWave™ establishes a new standard for cost reduction, operational simplicity, and process reliability—achieving more than a 50% reduction in dross.
Electrovert’s Aquastorm 160 will be featuring the advanced Hurricane System, delivering high‑performance cleaning in a compact design. Its high‑efficiency Intermix nozzles ensure superior rinsing, while the 24" conveyor width accommodates a wide range of PCB sizes. The patented Torrid Dryer provides reliable, efficient drying, and Checkmate 4.0 improves product control and alignment throughout the process. The Aquastorm platform supports multilane or single‑lane flighted belt configurations, making it adaptable for lightweight assemblies, fixtured products, and medium‑ to high‑volume production. Alignment features also streamline material handling by reducing the need for baskets and fixtures and improving board positioning.
MPM’s Momentum II Elite will highlight two major advancements: the new paste cartridge carousel and SmartTeach offline programming. The automated cartridge carousel allows operators to change paste cartridges without interrupting production, boosting efficiency and reducing the chance of errors. SmartTeach accelerates program creation by using Gerber data to organize PCB features offline, significantly shortening setup time prior to process launch. The system also includes enhanced Camalot Inside technology, offering expanded capabilities for greater flexibility, higher yield, and improved productivity.
Vitronics Soltec will feature the Centurion Reflow Oven with new Process Guard and CoolClean options. Process Guard provides real‑time process assurance by continuously monitoring PCB temperatures, generating detailed thermal profiles, and calculating Cpk values. CoolClean improves process reliability by removing and condensing contaminated gases outside the cool zone, reducing residue, minimizing oven contamination, and extending maintenance intervals. Together, these enhancements give manufacturers tighter control, improved consistency, and higher overall uptime.
